Mary was born on August 2, 1937, in El Paso, Texas, to Lorenzo Contreras and Juana (Duenes). She furthered her education by attending supervisory classes and earning college credit, reflecting her dedication to personal growth and professional excellence.

On December 25, 1955, she married the love of her life, Roy Davis, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Together, they built a life and were blessed with three children: Mary Ann, Roy, and Linda Sue.

Mary worked for many years as a supervisor with Levi Strauss in El Paso, Texas, where she was respected for her leadership and strong work ethic. In 1989, she and Roy relocated to Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, where she embraced ranch life and took great pride in caring for cattle. She made her home there for the remainder of her life.

Mary found great joy in traveling, spending time with her beloved family, and tending to her garden-especially nurturing her prized tomato plants. In her later years, she treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Roy Davis and wife Mary Anne of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Mary Ann Higgins of Savanna, Oklahoma, and Linda Sue Runyan and husband Bryan of Blanco, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Justin Higgins, Jason Higgins, James Higgins, Tyson Runyan, Bryce Runyan, Cody Runyan, Derek Runyan, Nathan Davis, and Cheyenne Davis; twelve great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard Flores, Tony Flores, Lupe Gonzales, and Sally Chavez, Rene Flores all of El Paso, Texas, and Andy Flores of Arlington, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and dear friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Davis; her parents; and several siblings, siblings-in-law, and extended family members.

Her legacy of strength, determination, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
