Maria de los Reyes Obituary
Maria G. de los Reyes, 62, of Chicago, IL, passed away, July 8, 2025, at Bickford of Moline.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There are no services to be held. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline are assisting the family with arrangements.
Maria was born on December 11, 1962, in Brownsville, TX, the daughter of Sergio and Socorro (Rueda) de los Reyes. The family moved from Brownsville to Chicago in the mid 1960's. Maria grew up in the Pilsen neighborhood and graduated from Benito Juarez High School. She attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She worked as a delivery driver for Fed Ex for 39 years. Maria liked to play golf and softball. She was also a Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include her brothers, Alfredo (Rebecca) de los Reyes, Juan (Laurie) de los Reyes, and Felipe (Norma) de los Reyes, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother.
