María del Socorro Contreras, de 83 años, falleció el 27 de agosto de 2025. Nació el 14 de noviembre de 1941 en Durango, México. María vivió una vida llena de amor, fe y dedicación a su familia. Disfrutaba de ir a misa todos los domingos y dedicarse a la costura. Era famosa por sus hermosos vestidos de novia y la ropa que confeccionaba. Sobre todo, su mayor alegría fue estar rodeada de sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos, quienes fueron el centro de su mundo. Le sobreviven sus hijos: Carlos Humberto González Contreras, María del Rayo González Contreras, Armando González Contreras, María del Carmen García-González, Miguel Enrique González Contreras, Rafael González Contreras y Héctor Ramón González. Deja un gran legado de amor a través de sus nietos: Anabel González, Blanca Araceli González, Carlos Fernando González, Pedro Miguel González, Osvaldo González, Icela Manríquez, Yadira González, Jessy González, Jennifer González, Derek González, Esteven González, Joel González, Alexis García, Itzel García, Julissa García, Chris Lee González, Joel González, Ricardo Cervantes, Jonathan Cervantes, Angie González, Julián González y Eli González; así como 14 bisnietos que llenaron de alegría su vida. María fue precedida en muerte por su amado esposo, Humberto González Moreno, y por sus padres, Francisco Contreras y María del Socorro Villarreal. Su calidez, bondad y entrega permanecerán para siempre en el recuerdo de todos quienes la conocieron y amaron. Maria Del Socorro Contreras, 83, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025. She was born on November 14, 1941, in Durango, Mexico. Maria lived a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to her family. She enjoyed attending Mass every Sunday, and spending time sewing. She was well known for the beautiful wedding dresses and clothing she sewed. Above all, her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She is survived by her children: Carlos Humberto Gonzalez Contreras, Maria Del Rayo Gonzalez Contreras, Armando Gonzalez Contreras, Maria del Carmen Garcia-Gonzalez, Miguel Enrique Gonzalez Contreras, Rafael Gonzalez Contreras, and Hector Ramon Gonzalez. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love through her grandchildren: Anabel Gonzalez, Blanca Araceli Gonzalez, Carlos Fernando Gonzalez, Pedro Miguel Gonzalez, Osvaldo Gonzalez, Icela Manriquez, Yadira Gonzalez, Jessy Gonzalez, Jennifer Gonzalez, Derek Gonzalez, Esteven Gonzalez, Joel Gonzalez, Alexis Garcia, Itzel Garcia, Julissa Garcia, Chris Lee Gonzalez, Joel Gonzalez, Ricardo Cervantes, Jonathan Cervantes, Angie Gonzalez, Julian Gonzalez, and Eli Gonzalez; as well as 14 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Maria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Humberto Gonzalez Moreno, and by her parents, Francisco Contreras and Maria Del Socorro Villarreal. Her warmth, kindness, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
