Thomas Erler

Thomas Christopher Erler, 44, of Grand Prairie passed away August 4, 2025. Thomas was born in Fort Worth, TX on November 24, 1980, the son of Mary Margaret Gruber and Richard William Erler. Those that knew Thomas adored him. He had a zest and appreciation for life that very few have. Dancing, singing and music were just a few of the things he loved to do. Thomas had a deep passion and appreciation for all things beautiful. He thoroughly enjoyed visiting the planetarium, the wax museum, bowling, anything to do with water and, above all, the ocean. It was very rare that you would not find him happy and smiling. His mother and father describe him as a God Given Gift to them both. He will forever be remembered for his positivity, contagious happiness, and his love and appreciation for absolutely everything. Thomas is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his father Richard William Erler, mother Mary Margaret Erler, his brothers and their wives Jeff and Kristen Erler, Bryan and Heather Erler, nieces Kaleigh, Kenadee, Ellie, Lauren, and Katie and nephew Jackson in addition to many aunts, uncles and cousins whom all love him very much.
