Woneda May McCullough Erler (nee Moody) of Elyria, Ohio passed away on October 10, 2025. Born March 3, 1930, to Albert Moody and Mary Abbott, Woneda brought joy to all those around her.

Woneda earned her associate's degree and became an LPN. She worked at Elyria Hospital and Methodist Nursing Home in Elyria for over 50 years. Her caring nature and desire to help people made her an incredible nurse. Woneda was a very devout Christian, accepting Jesus Christ as her savior. Being a pastor's wife and a very talented self-taught musician, she sang in the choir at the Sheffield Church of God and played piano, organ, accordion, and guitar. She also was involved in Hospitality in the church, making her beloved buckeyes into her 90's.

Woneda is survived by her beloved son Freddie (Helen) McCullough Jr.; daughters-in-law Cindy Hayes and Rhonda Bolyard; cherished grandchildren Freddie McCullough III, Rebecca (Charles) Young, Rachael (Paul) Schaffer, Amy (Matthew) Hecei, David Lee (Angel) McCullough, Jodi McCullough, Lynette McCullough, and Timothy McCullough II; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Reverend Fred McCullough, mother Mary Abbott, and sons David Lee McCullough and Timothy McCullough.

All services for Woneda will be held at Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake, OH 44012 on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Visitation will start at 11:00 am with a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Christian burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. www.buschcares.com 440-933-3202
