John Erler, age 76 of St. Paul Passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Monica; brother, Larry. He will be deeply missed by those who survive him: his wife of 40 years, Denise; sons, Michael, Daniel; siblings, Steve (Pam), David (Michelle), Mary, Jeremy; many nieces nephews and friends.
A graduate of Ramsey High School and University of Minnesota, John was an award- winning carpenter, specializing in the restoration of older homes. His favorite pastime was cycling, and most people who knew him were accustomed to seeing him in lycra. Above all, John was devoted to his wife and sons, and the void he leaves in their lives will be as big as his presence ever was.
