Maria Teresa Delgadillo-Juarez, 95 of Chicago, IL, peacefully passed away on Saturday morning, June 21st, 2025. She was born January 10, 1930, in Mexico, the daughter of Luis and Francisa Juarez. She married Balbino Delgadillo on July 3,1954 in Chicago, IL.
Teresa was a hard-working technician. She was the most generous, compassionate, loving, humorous person who enjoyed the company of others to indulge in her home-made authentic Mexican meals. Teresa loved to dance, as there was always music playing in the house. Teresa loved being with her children as mealtimes were a special place to have them all together, as she would always say," as long as we have tortillas, beans and rice we will never starve or be without food." Teresa embraced all moments with her grandchildren, including teaching them traditional recipes within the Mexican culture.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Balbino; four daughters, Nancy, Laura, Elizabeth and Graciela; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. Teresa was preceded by death by her two sons, Jose and David, eighteen siblings and her parents. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
