Maria Theresa Gonzales

Maria Theresa Gonzales 87, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away October 29,2025 peacefully at home with loved ones.

Theresa was born April 26, 1938 to Rosendo Gonzales Sr. and Filomena Medina Gonzales in Pecos, NM raised in Sena, NM.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Rosendo and Filomena her sister's Clarita, Virginia, Martha, Clara and brothers Evaristo, Rosendo Jr, and Fernandez Gonzales. Her son, Frank Gonzales and grandsons Michael, Angel, and Jonathan Rodriguez along with other loved ones. She is survived by her children, Manuel Gonzales, Olivia (Manuel Rodriguez). Grand children Nichole, Francine (Angel), Hayley, Manuel Jr, Issac, Amiah, Aleah, and Aubrianna. Sisters Mela, Mary Alice, Emily, and Dorothy. Numerous nieces and Nephews and her grandpup Fluffy her little Buddy.

Theresa is the best grandmother/Nana you could ever have. She enjoyed seeing her family and watching TV shows, she looked after everyone in the family, even the dogs. She had her moments when she could make everyone laugh. She enjoyed attending Saturday service mass shopping and getting her vanilla strawberry ice cream cone from Baskin-Robbins. She loved flowers. She is the best grandma and will be missed.

There will be a visitation for Maria on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 6:00 -8:00 pm at FRENCH Lomas. On Thursday, November 20, 2025, there will be a visitation at 10:00 am, followed by a Rosary at 10:30 am, with a Mass to follow at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, 811 Guaymas pl NE in Albuquerque.
