Maria Gutierrez Garcia Obituary
Visitation for Maria will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. She will be laid to rest back in her home town in Mexico.
Maria was born on May 1, 1959 in Valle de Santiago, Mexico. She was the daughter of Benito Garcia and Refugio Miranda. On January 11, 1974, Maria was united in marriage to Enrique Gutierrez. She enjoyed cooking and most importantly, loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Maria is survived by her husband of 48 years, Enrique; children: Juan Gutierrez, Marisela Gutierrez, Olivia Gutierrez, Elvira Gutierrez, Guadalupe Gutierrez and Luis Gutierrez and siblings: Guillermina, Josefina, Antonia, Rosa, Guadalupe, Maria and Elena.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Refugio and her son, Enrique.
