Maria Guadalupe Jackson, 54, of Cibolo, Texas, passed away on 30 June 2025.
Maria was born on 27 August 1970 to Antonio & Maria Rodriguez in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. After Maria graduated from Bel Air High School, El Paso, she went on to be an Medical Assistant, something she loved.
In 2006, Maria met Derrick Gene Jackson Sr. in El Paso, TX. Maria and Derrick had 4 children India Sullivan (39), Derrick Jackson Jr (35)., Marcus Curtis (32) & Ashton Jackson (31). She was also the proud Grandmother of 8 grandchildren Adam Curtis, Lilly Curtis, Nevaeh Howell, Zyaire Furlow, Zymarei Furlow, Zyshun Furlow, Zynya Furlow & Zytrell Furlow.
Maria was a proud member of Christopher Delight Chapter #1 Norris Wright Cuney OES PHA, Rebecca Court #2 Heroines of Jericho PHA, Infinity Unity Court #2 Ladies of the Circle of Perfection PHA & Flowers of Alamo Guild #8 Lonestar Grand Guild PHA.
Maria was predeceased in death by her father Antonio Rodriguez and mother Maria Rodriguez. She is survived by her brother Elias Rodriguez (Wife Ana Rodriguez / Children Damian, Andre & Adam Rodriguez) and brother Antonio Rodriguez and a host of other family members.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 beginning at 5:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home with a Memorial Service to follow beginning at 6:00 PM. Interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, TX will be held at a later date.
