Maria Jesus Castillo Obituary
95, of Capac, passed away August 31, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by her large and loving family.
Jessie was born August 18, 1930, the daughter of the late Dolores and Maria (Camarena) Aguinaga.
She enjoyed going on family vacations and visiting family & relatives, making her children do chores, cooking to feed an army, crocheting, praying the rosary, singing and taking care of her grandchildren.
Jessie's other greatest enjoyment was being the Foreman/Supervisor/Boss and Inspector of Ray's many handyman projects. She lived a long and fulfilled life.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Rafael; six children, Sally, Teresa, Mike, Patty, Jerry and Sara; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four siblings and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Dolores Aguinaga; daughter, Andrea; grandson, Robbie and three siblings.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support we have received during this difficult time. We ask that you keep Jessie and our family in your thoughts and prayers as we grieve.
The family honors the memory of Jessie and invites you to her Funeral Mass, Saturday, September 13, 2025, 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Imlay City. Fr. Charles Altermatt will officiate
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jessie's name may be made to: Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Imlay City, American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
