Rhonda Rose Hetzel

Rhonda Rose Hetzel, 75, of Sterling Heights passed away on October 4, 2025.
Born on September 9, 1950, at the University of Ohio Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, Rhonda was the beloved daughter of the late William and Mary Knowles.
Rhonda had a zest for life and a deep appreciation for simple pleasures. She loved fishing, spending time with her friends, and especially cherished her girls' weekends. A self-proclaimed "junk collector," Rhonda found joy in exploring flea markets and uncovering hidden treasures.
Above all, Rhonda will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, her strong spirit, and the deep connections she shared with those closest to her. Her memory will live on through the lives she touched.
Rhonda is survived by her loving daughter, Angela (Brandon) Phleeger; and her cherished grandsons, Bryce and Brooks, with whom she shared an especially close and loving bond. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael Kline, Bill (Fifi) Knowles, and Dewy Knowles; her nieces, Amber (Michael Andre) Tory and Dr. Andrea (Michael) Godlew; as well as Angela's best friend Gina Gauldoni and her children, Caroline Jansen and Ron Jansen, and all of Sarah's girls, who held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary "Shaggy" and nephew, Jared Tory.
The family honors the memory of Rhonda and invites you to visit and share memories Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 3:00 until the time of the funeral services at 5:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Mt. Clemens.
