Judith Lynn Narumiya, 67, of Harrison Township, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026, at Henry Ford St. John Hospital, Detroit.

She was born August 26, 1958, in Royal Oak, the daughter of the late Ralph and Peggy (Taylor) Shaw.

Her marriage to Robert Thomas Narumiya was September 12, 2020, at Villa Penna, Sterling Heights. Robert passed away September 6, 2024.

Judith was a graduate of Michigan State University and worked for Oakley Industries in Clinton Township. She was a former Deacon for the First Presbyterian Church, Mount Clemens. Judith enjoyed bowling, boating and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two children, Julie (Rick) Maurer and Kevin Piatek; two sisters, Darlene Howald and Kay Eckenrode, and a close cousin, Teena Taylor.

The family honors the memory of Judith and invites you to visit and share memories Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Mount Clemens. Funeral services will begin at 5:00 p.m. Rev. Kathy Nealand, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Mount Clemens, will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. The family requests that all flowers be sent to the funeral home for the funeral service and not to the family's home, please and thank you.
