Maria Theresa Longoria, age 84, of Greenville, passed away February 13, 2023. Her family will be having a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Peters Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
Maria was born on November 17, 1938 in Bluetown, Tx. to Federico and Sophia Longoria. She married the father of her children in a double ceremony with her sister, Sofia on October 20, 1956 in San Antonio, Tx.
She was an electrical technician and mail carrier for many years. Maria enjoyed cooking, sewing, working on puzzles, her dogs and loved spending time with her family.
Maria is survived by her daughters, Cynthia E. Williams (Greenville, TX.) and Debra T. Williams (Whitesboro, Tx.), Brigitte D. Hogan and her husband, Andy (Stephenville, TX.); son, Chester C. Williams and his wife Lana (Mineola, Tx.);grandchildren, Jennifer Crump and her husband, Don, Clayton Wilkerson, Arnulfo Rangel and his wife Ameica, Rebecca Leininger and her husband, James, John Henry Hogan and his wife, Alyssa, Kimberly Gamez and her husband Carlos, Olivia Hogan-Torres and her husband Oelys, Kaylee Williams, Dylan Byrd, and Jackson Hughes; great grandchildren, Colton Crump and his wife, Hannah, Hunter Crump, Jessica Crump, Tarajo Buchanan, John Paul Rangel, Andrew Rangel, Emily Rangel, Luke Leininger, Emma Leininger, Jasmine Hogan, Jade Hogan, Ivan Gamez, Teresa Gamez, and Brinley Byrd; sister, Sofia Louise Phillips and her nieces and nephews, Debra, Fred, Joseph, and Stephen; cousin, Eloisa DeLa Fuente.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Federico and Sofia Longoria; aunt and uncle, Carlos and Rosa DeLa Fuente; father of her children, Chester B. Williams and her nephew, Kenneth Phillips, Jr.
