Maria Luz Obituary
She was the wife of the late Armindo Luz.
Born in Santa Maria, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Helena (Batista) Sousa.
She loved to do puzzles, watch Portuguese soap operas with her mom, and enjoyed coffee time.
Maria is survived by her loving daughter Cenelandia Luz and her fiance Allen St. Martin, brother; Arthur Cabral and his wife Mary, sister-in-law; Juliana Sousa, grandchildren; Hannah St. Martin, Hailey St. Martin, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Sousa and Vitalia Roth.
Maria's funeral with visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 8:30am at the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Saint Andrew the Apostle Church, 19 Kilmer Avenue, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
