With hearts full of love and sorrow, we honor the life of Maria Orvelina Navas, a woman whose kindness, strength, and faith touched everyone who knew her.
Born in March 1943 in San Salvador, El Salvador, Maria lived a life filled with hard work, devotion, and compassion. For the past eight years, she made her home in Charlotte, North Carolina, where her gentle spirit and warm smile continued to brighten the lives of her family and friends.
Maria was a woman of great determination and heart. She loved her work and had a gift for business, but her greatest joy came from serving others. Whether she was cooking a comforting meal, lending a helping hand, or sharing laughter over her favorite seafood, Maria's love always shone through.
Her favorite color was pink a reflection of her tender heart, her grace, and the quiet joy she brought into every space she entered. She found peace and purpose in her faith, attending church gatherings that nourished her soul and deepened her love for God and others.
Maria will be remembered for her compassion, her generosity, and the way she made every person feel cared for and valued. Though she has left this world, her light continues to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
