Maria Luz Vivar de Pinedo, 97, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, she will be loved and missed. Born on February 25, 1928, in Peru, Maria dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband of 55 years, Florencio, and their 7 children. Maria's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and her feisty wittiness with a loving environment. She is survived by her children, Indalecia, Bertha, Carmela, Yolanda, Rosa, Olga and Raul, 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to honor Maria on Saturday, August 16th, from 8:30am to 10:30am at Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 16th at 11:00am, at St Mary Church, 566 Elm St, Stamford, CT 06902.
