Obituario de Rosalba Pinedo

Con profundo amor y tristeza anunciamos la partida de Rosalba Pinedo, quien falleció el 28 de Septiembre del 2025 a la edad de 61 años.
Rosalba fue una mujer apasionada, fuerte, y amorosa. Todos sabían que tenía un carácter firme y que jamás dudaba en decir lo que pensaba ni en defender lo que consideraba justo. Era franca, directa, y muchas veces intensa, pero detrás de esa fuerza había un corazón enorme capaz de amar sin condiciones. No importaba la situación: siempre se podía contar con ella. Encontraba la manera de estar presente, de respaldarte y de hacerte sentir que no estabas solo.
La vida le presento muchos retos inmensos, pero ella nunca retrocedió. Lucho con una fuerza admirable, y a pesar de todo lo que enfrentó, persistió con una valentía que marcó a quienes la rodeaban. Amaba su trabajo, sobre todo porque le permitía guiar y, como ella misma decía, "decirle a la gente qué hacer." Esa pasión se reflejaba también en su hogar, donde su presencia llenaba cada espacio, tanto con su voz firme como con los aromas de su deliciosa comida.
Tenía placeres muy propios que la definían: su adoración por el helado de butter pecan de Oberweis, su amor por los mariscos, y los fideos lo mein. Eran pequeñas alegrías que revelaban su lado más tierno y divertido.
Rosalba fue una mujer imposible de ignorar, una presencia fuerte y luminosa que dejó huella en todos los que la conocieron. Su legado es el de una vida vivida con intensidad, amor profundo y la certeza de que nunca, jamás, se rindió.
Su memoria seguirá viva en cada historia, cada comida compartida, cada carcajada y cada abrazo de quienes tuvieron la fortuna de conocerla.
Rosalba fue precedida en fallecimiento por su padre Juan Manuel Ruiz Gonsalez. Le sobreviven su esposo José R. Pinedo, sus hijos Jorge Luis Garcia, Ulysses Pinedo (Shelby), Irven David Pinedo, Yosemite C. Pinedo, sus nietos Dominic Santiago Pinedo, Ajax Colt Pinedo, Apollo Kai Pinedo, y sus hermanos Juan Manuel Ruiz Cortez, Pastor Ruiz Cortez, Eluterio Ruiz Cortez, Jose Abraham Ruiz Cortez, Jose Ruiz Cortez, and Refugio Ruiz Cortez, y su mama Maria Isabel Cortez Alvarado.
La familia recibirá invitados el viernes 3 de octubre de 2025 desde las 10:00 a. m. hasta la hora del servicio a las 12:00 p. m. en Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 South Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538. El entierro se realizará inmediatamente en Spring Lake Cemetery, 745 South Lincoln Avenue, Aurora, IL 60505.
Después del entierro, se llevará a cabo un convivio en la residencia familiar.

With profound love and sadness, we announce the passing of Rosalba Pinedo, who left us on September 28, 2025 at the age of 61.
Rosalba was a passionate, strong, and loving woman. Everyone knew she had a firm character and never hesitated to speak her mind or to defend what she believed was right. She was frank, direct, and often intense, but behind that strength was a tremendous heart capable of loving without conditions. No matter the circumstance, you could always count on her. She always found a way to be present, to stand by you, and to make you feel that you were never alone.
Life presented her with many immense challenges, but she never backed down. She fought with admirable strength, and despite everything she faced, she persisted with a courage that left a mark on all those around her. She was passionate about her work, especially because it allowed her to guide others and, as she herself would say "tell people what to do". That same passion shone in her home, where her presence filled every space; both with her firm voice and with the aromas of her delicious cooking.
She had simple joys that defined her: her love of Oberweis butter pecan ice cream, her love for seafood, and her delight in lo mein noodles. These small pleasures revealed her tender and playful side.
Rosalba was a woman impossible to ignore: a strong, radiant presence who left an imprint on everyone who knew her. Her legacy is one of a life lived with intensity, deep love, and the certainty that she never, ever gave up.
Her memory will live on in every story, every shared meal, every burst of laughter, and every embrace of those fortunate enough to have known her.
Rosalba was preceded in death by her father Juan Manuel Ruiz Gonsalez. She is survived by her loving husband: Jose R. Pinedo, her sons and daughter: Jorge Luis Garcia, Ulysses Pinedo (Shelby), Irven David Pinedo, and Yosemite C. Pinedo, her grandchildren Dominic Santiago Pinedo, Ajax Colt Pinedo, Apollo Kai Pinedo, her brothers: Juan Manuel Ruiz Cortez, Pastor Ruiz Cortez, Eluterio Ruiz Cortez, Jose Abraham Ruiz Cortez, Jose Ruiz Cortez, and Refugio Ruiz Cortez, and her mother Maria Isabel Cortez Alvarado.
Family will be receiving guests on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 South Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538. Burial to immediately follow at Spring Lake Cemetery, 745 South Lincoln Avenue, Aurora, IL 60505.
Following the burial, a luncheon will be held at the family residence.
