María nació el 16 de Septiembre de 1955 en Aguascalientes México. De niña su familia se fue a vivir a Compostela Nayarit donde conoció al amor de su vida Jesús Salvatierra. Ellos se casaron en 1975 y comenzaron a formar su hermosa familia. Sus hijos Fernando, Yesica, Jessie, Candelaria, Alex y German. Tiene 21 nietos y 1 bisnietos.
María fue una mujer muy fuerte y de mucha fe. Un poco reservada, sus amigas fueron su familia, sus comadres y sus hijos.
Su mayor felicidad fue su esposo, pasar tiempo con sus hijos, viajar, escuchar música y cocinar.
Su familia la quiere mucho y siempre la va extrañar. Pero sabemos que ya está descansando en paz y sin dolor al lado de Dios.
