SIEBERTZ, Maria Madelyn - Age 85, of Fenton, passed away June 27, 2024. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd., Howell. Fr. Gregg Pleiness celebrant. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 10AM until the time of Mass Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Maria was born November 29, 1938 in Detroit, the daughter of John and Mary Lawrena (Lehman) Presley. She married Peter Siebertz on January 24, 1959. Maria worked at Fenton Basket Company. She had a special love for Bassett Hounds, which she bred and raised for many years. Her love of dogs continued throughout her life to include Biewer Terriers. She enjoyed spending time in nature and going to their home in the Traverse City area. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Peter; children, Lisa (David) Papp, Shawn (Ganga) Siebertz, Joel (Tina) Siebertz and Erik (Mollie) Siebertz; grandchildren, Joel Jr., Sarah, Maegan, Luke, Derek, Marissa, Lily and Sophia; She was preceded in death by her brothers, John "Jack" Presley, Jr. and Don Presley.
