While residing in Peru she worked as a secretary and taught for many years. Later when she came to America, she worked as a baker. She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in East Stroudsburg, PA.
In addition to her husband Juan, she is survived by a daughter Kathya Ventura and her husband Manny of Easton, PA and a son Jaime Ventura and his wife Heydi of Stroudsburg, PA, and 3 grandchildren: Aleyla, Han-Su and Haylee.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 9, 2026, at 10:00am at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 78 Ridgeway St. East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. Burial will follow in the Stroudsburg Cemetery. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 6-8:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
