celebrated 58 years of marriage and were together for 65 years.
Diane was born in Scranton, PA. the daughter of Clarence and Lillian (Lallus) Indian. Diane was residing in the East Stroudsburg area for the past five years and prior to that resided in Cranford, NJ. Diane was vice-president of J& J Food Concepts in New Jersey and Nevada. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in East Stroudsburg, PA.
In addition to her husband Joe, she is survived by her children: Tina Zito of Tobyhanna, Lisa Johnson and her husband Paul of E. Stroudsburg, PA., David Zito and his wife Marie of Monroe
Twp., NJ, and Joseph A. Zito and his wife Alexandria of Old Bridge, NJ, 7 grandchildren: Joseph Johnson and his wife Talia, Paul Johnson and his wife Maria, David Zito, Emmarose Zito,
Julia Zito, Issabella Zito and Sophia Sliva, Justine DeRose (daughter Brooke), Frank and Emily DeRose, and a great granddaughter Artemis, and a second little girl on the way. Diane was
preceded in death by 2 grandchildren: Nicholas and Oliva Johnson.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 8, 2026, 2:00pm at St. John's Catholic Church 5171 Milford Rd. East Stroudsburg, PA 18302, with Fr. Gregory Reichlen as
celebrant. Cremation will follow the mass. There will be a viewing on Tuesday April 7, 2026, from 4-8:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9 th . St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
