Maria Elena Vidana

Maria Elena Vidana, age 75, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Wednesday, December 6, 2023 in Muleshoe. She was born February 12, 1948 in El Por Venir, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose and Antolina (Orozco) Maese. She married Francisco Vidaña in Guadalupe, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Maria loved being with her grandchildren. She enjoyed making gorditas and listening to church music. Maria was a member of Templo Buen Pastor in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco; her parents; a sister, Josefina Maese; and three brothers, Rafael Luna, Antonio Maese and Socorro Maese.
Maria is survived by her three sons, Jose Angel Vidaña and his wife Mercedes of Muleshoe, Texas, Francisco Vidaña and his wife, Norma of Muleshoe, Texas and Jaime Vidaña and his wife, Aracely of Muleshoe, Texas; her two daughters, Marta Vidaña of Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico and Teresa Esparza and her husband, Lorenzo of Muleshoe, Texas; a sister, Luz Gonzalez of El Por Venir, Chihuahua, Mexico; a brother, Jesus Maese of Chico, Texas; her sixteen grandchildren; and her seventeen great-grandchildren.
