Marian Helen (Froehlich) Appelt passed into heaven to be with her Heavenly Father on January 2, 2026.
She was born December 22, 1934, to Roland and Alma (Teinert) Froehlich in Winchester, Texas.
On August 2, 1955, she married Alfred Charles Appelt of Schulenburg, Texas. She was married to Alfred (A.C.) for 51 years when he passed away in 2006.
Their union was blessed with five beautiful children; Byron Charles Appelt and wife Frances, Christal Louise (Appelt) Thomas and husband Mike, Jon Wade Appelt and wife Diana, Carrie Sue (Appelt) Butler and husband Gerry, and Jason Paul Appelt and wife Laura; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Allen Webb and wife Mary, Kenneth Charles Butler and wife Susan, and Shelbie Lynn (Appelt) Mendoza and husband Alex; two step-grandchildren, Stephen Dilloway and Samantha Dilloway; six great grandchildren, Zane and Kaylee Jo Webb, Lauren and Joshua Butler, Olivia and Mia Mendoza; six step-great-grandchildren, Lily, Dakota, and Scarlett Dilloway and Alex, Madison, and Liam Gamez.
She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Wallace and Mildred Froehlich and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Marian is preceded in death by her beloved husband, A.C.; her father and mother, Roland and Alma Froehlich; her oldest child, Byron Appelt; her sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Frank Taylor, and her niece, DeLayne (Taylor) Allen.
