Marian Jean (Brown) Boehm, aged 93, passed into eternal life on November 25, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia on February 26, 1932, she was the daughter of Henry and Helen (Boyd) Brown, and sister of Agnes Kichline, who passed away in 2010. She grew up in Allentown and talked often about her funny childhood adventures, which she documented in her last years. She graduated from Allentown High School in 1949, and afterwards, attended Allentown Business College. She worked for many years in clerical positions, including PP & L and a long-time position at Wayne Feather Plumbing and Heating of Emmaus. She and her husband also owned the Emmaus Cab Company and later, the Emmaus Answering Service. In addition, Marian volunteered for the Lehigh Valley Braille Guild for many years translating written books into braille.

She was married to Marvin H. Boehm for 68 years, before his passing in 2019. She was the mother of 5 children, and was pre-deceased by her son, Jeffrey in 1991, as well as two grandchildren, Tara Boehm and Benjamin Boehm. Survivors: Son, Christopher Boehm and wife, Maryann; Son, Mark Boehm and wife Chris, Daughter, Susan Mohr and husband Daniel, daughter, Nancy Dutt and husband, Jeffrey. She is also survived by a daughter in law, Ellen Overholt and husband, Scott Overholt of Harrisburg. Grandchildren: Marla Rush and husband Matt, Megan Boehm, Matthew Boehm and wife Erica, Erik Boehm, Michael Boehm and wife Dipal, Melanie Carwell and husband, Michael, Kimberly Stauffer and husband, Justin, Jennifer Mitchell and husband, Zachary. She is also survived by a niece, Deborah Brobst, and a nephew, Lawrence Kichline, both of Allentown. She has 13 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

Marian was famous for her delicious strawberry pies, beautiful flower gardens, sharp sense of humor and love of various types of games, including bowling, where she excelled. She was also very proud of her ping pong skills, and was the champion of her high school in 1949. She also knitted Christmas stockings for every member of the family. In addition, she loved her Irish heritage and traveled to Ireland in 1979. She will be greatly missed by family and friends, and will be remembered with much love.

Services: 10:30 AM Monday, December 1, 2025 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM Monday in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Coopersburg. www.BKRFH.com
