Obituary of Marian Barbara Mason
Marian Barbara Mason, age 91, of Denver Colorado died peacefully on February 7, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1932 to Rose and David Gulkin and pursued a career of nursing in the Boston area for many years.
Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Mason and her daughter, Anne Mason. Marian is survived by her children, Phil Mason and his wife Linda Malman, and Judy and Barry Schiffer along with grandchildren, Hanna and Emma Mason, Mark and Davida Schiffer, William Usher and his spouse Angela Yin, and Katherine Mason Saunders and her spouse Daniel Saunders, Abigail Malman and her fiancée Patrick Mayworm, Ari and Candice Malman and Jake Malman and Raechel Kimbriel. Marian was also loved by her great grandchildren Cohen and Kenzie Case and Eddie and George Saunders.
Marian and Joseph lived in Lexington Massachusetts before retiring to Boynton Beach, Florida where they resided for many years enjoying sun, golf and became part of an active Jewish community. In 2012, they relocated to Denver, Colorado to be closer to family.
Marian will be remembered for her love of family, her never ceasing energy, ongoing connections with friends, and the importance of keeping Jewish traditions. She nurtured close friendships over the years with her involvement in temple sisterhood, weekly bridge games and her numerous quilting and sewing projects. Each of her children and grandchildren were blessed to receive a personalized quilt as a symbol of her love and her pride in their accomplishments in life. Marian will be missed by all who had the pleasure and honor of knowing her.

A graveside service in honor of Marian will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 11:45am in the Emanuel section of Fairmount Cemetery. Livestream available on Feldman Mortuary's YouTube Channel. A luncheon will follow the service at the home of Phil Mason and Linda Malman: 320 Lafayette Street. Denver, CO 80218
