Marian Hopkins McGuire: Age 90 a long-time resident of River Ridge, La passed away on Friday September 19, 2025. Marian was preceded in death by her husband of over 45 years Vincent J. McGuire and her parents Eula Melancon Hopkins and Henry Hopkins, Sr.

Marian is survived by her loving children, Crystal Verges (George) and Dianna Elstrott (Late, Scott, Sr.), four beloved grandchildren Rachel Richard (Matt), Danielle Legendre (Brian), Scott Elstrott, Jr. (Monique), Steven Elstrott (Corinne), and her most cherished of all were her seven great grandchildren: Reese, Hallie, and Piper Richard, Stella and Liam Heffron-Elstrott, Dakota and Dallas Legendre.

Marian is also survived by her brother Henry Hopkins, Jr.

In addition, she is survived by her companion of 20 years Hayward Bordelon, Sr.

She was a Switchboard Operator/ Receptionist and retired from "L.M. Berry/The Berry Company" in 1996. She enjoyed cooking for her family, but her real passion was dancing. She looked forward to the weekends to go dancing and be with her many friends. She was a dedicated and loving caregiver. She adored visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marian will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. McGuire's wishes were for immediate family to have a private graveside service.
