Marian C. Scherpenberg

Marian C. Scherpenberg (nee Laumann), age 94, passed away on July 29, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Ted, the loving sister of the late George (Emma) Laumann, and Bob (Jane) Laumann, the cherished mother of Ted Scherpenberg, Judy Scherpenberg, Sue (Jeff) Normand, Tom (Betsy) Scherpenberg, John (Marilyn) Scherpenberg, Mike (Joan) Scherpenberg, and Julie Ingram.
Devoted grandmother of Teddy (Jenn) Scherpenberg, Carrie (Roger) Glandorf, Sara (Bruno) Normand Cavalieri, Lizz (David) Sieger, Katie (Drew) Fladung, Brian (Chelsea) Scherpenberg, Michael (Jacinda) Scherpenberg, Scott (Eve) Scherpenberg, Amy (Calvin) Powell, Abby (Will) Judd, John Scherpenberg, Matthew (Tara) Johnston, Michael (Taylor) Scherpenberg, Andrew Scherpenberg, Genna Scherpenberg, Nick Ingram, and Dan Ingram.
Adored great-grandmother of Kennedy Scherpenberg. Theo Scherpenberg, Marco Normand-Cavalieri, Grace Sieger, Liam Sieger, Gus Glandorf, Otto Glandorf, Charlie Glandorf, Truman Johnston, Marlow Johnston, Henley Johnston, William Judd, Elliana Judd, Ella Scherpenberg, and Mikey Scherpenberg.
Marian was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and received a B.S. in Elementary Education. After raising her seven children, she was a dedicated kindergarten teacher at St. Ursula Villa for 22 years. Marian was also a lifelong member of the St. Gertrude Parish and spent endless hours as a volunteer for the Ladies of Charity and Hope Emergency.
Marian's visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11th from 8:30AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial 9:30AM at St. Gertrude Parish, 6543 Miami Rd. (45242) Madeira.
