Marian Wilson Obituary

She dedicated 23 years of service to the Milford Postal Service, where her warm smile and friendly conversations brightened the days of countless neighbors and customers.
Marian had a heart for people and most of all her family. She enjoyed many times savoring and teaching her grandchildren how to bake cookies. She would often be found striking up cheerful conversations with strangers who soon became friends. A vibrant spirit, she was known for her signature pink wardrobe and her deep love of daffodils and pink impatiens.
Whether spotting a cardinal, a Black-capped Chickadee, or one of her cherished flamingos, Marian had an eye for the little joys in life.
Her faith played a central role in her life. She was deeply involved in her church, giving her time and energy to community events and especially to the much-loved rummage sales, where she brought joy, energy, and dedication.
Marian was a lifelong learner and a proud fan of Jeopardy!-rarely missing an episode. She took pride in answering the tough questions that even the contestants couldn't get. Her curiosity, humor, and love of learning were ever-present.
A woman who found joy in everyday pleasures, Marian loved her trips to Costco just as much as she loved her quiet moments in the garden. She lived a life full of kindness, connection, and color.
Daughter of the late Harold and Erla Roundy, Marian is survived by her children, Carol (Corby) House and David (Karen) Wilson; grandchildren, Amber (Jeramie) Ferriss and David (Ashley) Wilson; great grandchildren, Lenarae, Savannah, Keith, Adelaide, Caroline and Karina; also many extended family and dear friends.
Marian is also preceded in death by her sons, Thomas E. Wilson and Theodore D. Wilson.
Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, MI 48381 on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 3 - 8pm.
Funeral Service at Christ Lutheran Church, 620 General Motors Rd, Milford, MI 48381, on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11:30am with gathering beginning at 10:30am.
