Marianne Dellape Obituary
A cherished wife of 48 years to John A. Dellape, III, Marianne's enduring love story became an inspiration to her devoted daughter Jennifer, her son John A. Dellape, IV, and her adored grandchild, Vinnie Emswiler. Her sister, Patricia Jones, and brother-in-law, Richard, also carry the legacy of her spirited kinship. She was also survived by many loving family and friends.
Throughout her career as a Registered Nurse at Bon Secours Hospital, Marianne's tireless dedication to healthcare left indelible marks of compassion and excellence. Away from work, she delighted in the allure of New York City, the drama of Broadway plays, particularly Les Misérables, and the serenity of Ocean City, MD, and Williamsburg, VA.
Marianne's life is a testament to love's timeless echo, a narrative of commitment to family, profession, and the joy of life's simple pleasures.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Marianne's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234 for a visitation on Friday, January 24th 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8PM. A prayer service will be held on Saturday, 1PM at Evans. Interment to follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Park.

Marianne and I, as sisters do, shared childhood memories as well as a love for Broadway. We watched scores of Broadway Shows together. She will always remain number one in my book. I will miss her every minute of every day. We were the Moxley Girls from Catonsville!

I had the pleasure of working with Marianne at Bon Secours for many years. She worked hard and always made us laugh even on the hard days. She was a wonderful part of our nursing group. I am thankful to have crossed paths with her. Her work truly speaks for her. Rest well Marianne.
