Mrs. Rollins was born and reared in Plant City, Florida, daughter of the late Walter Thompson and Miriam Melton Thompson. She lived many years in Nichols, Florida before moving to Abbeville in 2011. Mrs. Rollins was affiliated with Friendly Assembly of God Church in Barbour County. She was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Clark, and an infant brother, Larry Thompson.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Steven R. Rollins, Sr; two daughters, Doris Furby, Abbeville; and Jackie Minton (Glenn), Louisville, AL; a son, Gary Furby (Helen), Abbeville; a step-son, Steven Rollins, Jr., Lake Butler, FL; three sisters, Karen Thompson Payne, Abbeville; Janet Bockner (Mark), Dover, Fl; and Rebecca Heath (Leon), of Georgia; grandchildren, Tosha Nichols, Dewayne Furby, Elizabeth Senn, Dale Furby, Richard Rollins (Katie), Olie Torbio (Stephania), and Hollianne Thompson; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
