Marie Benning Obituary

Born on October 3, 1924, in Antler, North Dakota to Theodore and Clara Foss, she was the youngest of four, with three older brothers.
On June 18, 1962, Marie married Louis Victor Benning and shared 43 wonderful years together! Marie and Louis had two successful business ventures, Ben L. Trucking & Golden West Motel and Mobile Park, before building a home in Gig Harbor, Washington.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Clara, her 3 brothers Percy, Meroon (Mac) and Vernon, as well as her husband Louis. Marie was loved and leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also an "adopted" Aunt by many she knew. She will be missed for her welcoming manner, her appreciation of family and friends and her sense of humor.
The family would like to thank Joann and Dee of Alpine Adult Family Home for the love and care given to her during the last year.
Marie was true to her faith and loved by her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Nicholas Church of Gig Harbor.
