A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Peter's Catholic Church, 121 S. Second St. Columbia PA 17512 on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery.
Marie T. Cremer, 96 of West Hempfield Township, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at St. Anne's Retirement Community where she had resided for the past three years. Born to the late William and Catherine Rietschy Hartman, Marie was the wife of the late John P. Cremer who preceded her in death in 1997.
She was a graduate of Columbia High School, Class of 1946 and was employed as an Executive Secretary for the former Colonial Metals and Alcoa Corporation. In addition, Marie was also a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Columbia.
She is survived by her brothers, James and Robert Hartman along with numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Francis Hartman.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of SARC for the care and kindness shown to Marie during her stay there.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Peter's Catholic Church, 121 S. Second St. Columbia PA 17512 on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Augustine Joseph, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Angels School, 404 Cherry St. Columbia PA 17512.
