Obituary of Marie Ferguson
CELEBRATION OF LIFE
In Loving Memory of
Marie Ferguson
March 9, 1935 – December 15, 2024
Marie Ferguson was born March 9, 1935, to the late Francis E. Moseley and Joe Gonzales in Calhoun, Cameron, South Carolina. She and her family relocated North in 1945 and settled in Bronx, New York, where she lived, was educated and eventually married.
Marie became a certified Dental Technical and worked in the dental profession for some time. She later went to work for the City of New York Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) where she worked for many years and later retired.
Marie was a woman of prayer. She loved the Lord and lived a life of service to others. Through countless acts of kindness, prayer and a profound love for all people, she touched many lives. Marie found strength, hope and purpose through praying for others, and writing inspirational letters filled with Psalms and biblical scriptures which has become a source of great encouragement to others, and continues to impact the life of family, friends and even strangers to this day. We thank God for the love, guidance, and wisdom of a loving Mother, and the 89-years of her precious life. We have been blessed by her presence, her smiles, and her laughter, and we will always remember with tremendous fondness the days and nights sitting by your side watching movie classics and enjoying your favorite game shows. God sent us an Angel when he sent us you.
Marie is preceded by her five children, Marie Ferguson- Fye, William Ferguson, Suzanne Ferguson, Jeffrey Ferguson, Darryl Ferguson, 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
May you rest in peace Mother
