Marie Woodall Lacoste, age 87, of Kiln, MS, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 26, 1938 in Summit, MS to J.C. and Effie Mae Freeman Woodall.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Seymour Lacoste; 2 sons, Brett and Bruce Lacoste; a grandson, Kevin Lacoste, II; a granddaughter, Michelle Lacoste; a brother, Cliff Woodall; and a sister, Mavis Peavey.
Mrs. Lacoste is survived by her children, Steven (Veda) Lacoste, Daryl (Melissa) Lacoste, and Kevin Lacoste, Sr; a daughter-in-law, Kim Lacoste; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was the owner of Lacoste Wrecker and Storage for 51 years. She will be remembered for the love she poured into her family and the quiet joy she found in life’s simple moments. Some of her happiest moments were spent on her porch swing, a cup of coffee in hand, surrounded by those she cherished to most.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the ICU doctors and nurses at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport for their exceptional care, compassion, and kindness during her final days.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 11 am - 2 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd, Pass Christian. The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Bayou CoCo Cemetery.
A reception will be held in the Annunciation Catholic Church Parish Hall following the graveside service.
