Marie Madden Obituary

Published by Legacy on Apr. 28, 2023.
Madden, Marie T., 95, passed away April 25, 2023. Beloved wife of 53 years to James. Loving mother of Sal Desimone (Dorothy) and Julie McDevitt (Denis). Cherished grandmother of Donna Wright (Timmy), Nancy Einhart (Dan), and Sara Maxwell (John). Adored great-grandmother of Alyssa Wright, Sophia Maxwell, TJ Wright, Juliet Einhart, John Maxwell, and George Einhart. Dear sister of Frances Cantatore (Raymond), Jeanette Stam (George) and predeceased by siblings Dominick, Vivian, and Louise. Marie worked as an executive secretary for a tile and marble company, Peter Bratti Associates. They did all the tile work at Trump Tower and Marie delighted in the fact that she knew and worked briefly with Donald Trump. Marie loved to paint, mostly flowers and landscapes. As the years progressed, her iPad became her best friend. Ordering from Amazon became a favorite hobby. Marie loved her fruits and vegetables as well as her, as she would say, "wee bit of wine"! Most of all, Marie enjoyed time spent with her family. She was a devoted and proud grandmother, and got so much pleasure from her six great grandchildren. The family will receive visitors Friday, April 28th, 11 am-1 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Service Friday, April 28th, 1 pm at the funeral home. Interment following at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
