Summer Rayne Madden, lovingly known as "Little Piglet," was a radiant soul whose time with us, though all too brief, was filled with immense love and joy. Summer was born on August 7, 2025, at Berger Hospital in Circleville, Ohio. The beloved daughter of Sonny Madden II and Nellie Dennis. She passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, in Chillicothe, Ohio.
She is survived by her loving parents, Sonny Madden II and Nellie Dennis, who cherished every moment with their "Little Piglet." Her brothers, River, Cayleb, and Dylan Madden, along with her sister Abbigail Madden, and her God sister, Katlyne Meeks.
Summer was also deeply loved by her great grandparents, Nellie Corey and James Dennis, her paternal grandparents, Sonny and Kathy Madden; and her maternal grandparents, James and Linia Dennis, Aunt Tiffani Madden and Mamaw Celena Gibson, Great Uncle "Bubby Marlin Corey" Her aunts and uncles, Rebecca Dennis (Selena), Robert Madden (Kelsey), James Dennis Jr. (Angel), and Levi Dennis, cousins, Johnathan Browning, Myah Browning, Jolene Robinson, and Chloe Madden, all of whom enriched her life with laughter and joy.
While Summer's time was limited, her impact was profound. She was preceded in death by her family members Marlin Corey, Virginia Arthurs, Rose Dennis, Estel Madden and his wife Dorothy, her great-grandpa Richard King and Uncle Ryan Madden all of whom surely welcomed her with love on the other side.
A visitation to celebrate Summer's life will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Michael R Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville, Kentucky, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Hedricks Cemetery in Salt Lick, Kentucky, starting at 3:30 PM.
In this time of sorrow, we remember not just the loss of Summer Rayne, but the immense love and joy she brought into our lives. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light for her family and friends, and she will always be lovingly remembered as mommy and daddy's Little Piglet.
