Marie Miele

Marie Miele, of Old Bridge passed away on Sunday, October 12th at home. She was 93.
Born and raised in New York City, she lived in Old Bridge for over 30 years before moving to the Villages in Lady Lake, Florida before moving back to Old Bridge in 2023.
Marie was a homemaker. She later worked at the front desk at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. After her retirement she spent time as a hospice volunteer in Florida. She had a soft spot for dogs and was known for her fantastic cooking and love for her family.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Attilio Bellia in 1996; and second husband, Joseph Miele in 2023. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Lawrence and Anthony 'Sonny' Soldano; sister, Dorothy Soldano; stepson, Larry Miele; and son-in-law, Anthony Costabile.
Surviving are her son, Joseph Bellia of Old Bridge; daughter, Susan Costabile of Piscataway; stepson, Joseph Miele, Jr. (wife, Debbie) of Pennsylvania; stepdaughter, Regina Costanza of South NJ; grandchildren, Shannon Woerner, Dana Costabile Abro and Thomas Costabile; step-grandson, Matthew Miele; 2 great-grandchildren, Olivia and Addison; and step-great-grandson Byron.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th from 3 to 8 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 21st, 9:30 AM at the funeral home with 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Frances Cabrini Church, Piscataway. Entombment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
