Marie Domenica Muscillo was the proud daughter of Peter and Mariana Damone of Island Park. She loved her hometown of Island Park and her "forever" parish of Sacred Heart, in which she lived in for the majority of her life. Her devotion to the Blessed Mother was rewarded by her motherly embrace as she entered heaven at the age of 74.
Marie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Eugene Muscillo, whom she loved with all of her heart. She was an amazing wife and mother to Peter Muscillo (Kristin) and Gina-Marie Moravcik (John). Her grandchildren, John, Jason, Avery, and Layne were her pride and joy. She never missed a birthday or special occasion to be with them and was an integral part of their lives. She was honored to be a godmother to Annemarie Robley and Jennifer Zelensky. Her love for their families was immense.
She loved her friends and family fiercely and was always the caretaker or rock for them. Marie loved with grace, faith, and the tenderness that can never be forgotten. Her legacy of love and faith will live on through the ones left behind, who will speak of her lovingly and often. It is her time to rest in the arms of God and her family in heaven. Until we meet again, rest in peace.
