Marie A Ryerson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marie Ryerson, who left this world peacefully on May 21, 2025 at the age of 90. A woman who was endlessly kind and generous, her life was one of unconditional love and unwavering support.
Born on November 25,1934 in Hackensack, NJ, Marie devoted her life to caring for others. The heart of her family - Marie was a steady, endlessly kind presence in times of both joy and sorrow her love for her husband, three children and their spouses, family and friends was boundless. Along with her role as devoted mother and grandmother, Marie was a loyal friend and a caring neighbor.
She leaves behind daughter Robin and her wife Diane, son Robert and his wife Lisa, daughter Susan and four beloved grandchildren, Christine, Margaret, Nicole, and Genevieve, her sister, Rose Marie Spingler, and her brother, Silvio Piergrossi. She was predeceased by her husband John P. Ryerson, and her brother, Maurice Piergrossi. We honor her legacy by striving to live with the same grace and compassion she showed every day.
Her service will be held on Saturday May 24th, from 1pm to 5pm, at the Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to Saint Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
