Marie Ann Sigler

Marie Ann Sigler, 81, of Wyandotte, MI, passed away November 6, 2025
Marie was born in Detroit, MI, on April 16, 1944 to the late James and Elsie (Ternyak) Toth. She spent most of her teaching career in the Southgate Community Schools, touching the lives of many students who remembered her over the years. Following her retirement from teaching she spent over ten years as a tour guide at The Henry Ford where she enjoyed her colleagues' camaraderie and meeting visitors from around the world. She was passionate about travel and toured the globe from Mexico and the Caribbean, throughout Europe and to Egypt, Turkey and China. Marie was also an active member of her church, Our Lady of the Scapular in Wyandotte, and,previously, Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Marie was a caring wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She survived her late husband, Richard Sigler, her late son Robert Sigler, and her late sister Priscilla San Cartier. Surviving her are her brother-in-law Gary San Cartier of Prescott, MI; nephew Chris San Cartier of Prescott, MI; and niece Jennifer San Cartier of New York, NY.
