Marie Cook Weeks

Marie Cook Weeks, 76, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday morning, November 4, 2025, at High Point Medical Center.

She was born January 21, 1949, in Guilford County, a daughter of the late Paul Hue Cook, and the late Beulah Smith Cook Townsend. On June 5, 1970, she married the late Lewis Tirey Weeks and they spent 54 years of marriage together.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her step father, Charles Townsend; brother, J.J. Cook; brother-in-law, Garry Harmon; and sister -in-law, Nancy Ashby.

Mrs. Weeks was a retired Middle School teacher for the Randolph County School System.

Left to cherish her memory; her daughter, Gina Prevost and husband Ben; son Corbin Weeks and wife Sara; grandchildren, Landon Weeks, Lucas Prevost, Josh Edmonds, and Justin Edmonds; sister, Crissie Harmon; brother, Earl Smith; and her brother and sister in-law, David and Carolyn Weeks.

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Thursday, November 6, 2025, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point chapel with Jerry Farlow officiating.

Burial will follow in the Floral Garden Memorial Park cemetery.

The family will receive friends 10:00-10:45AM prior to the service.
