Sue was employed at the medical practice of Dr. Paul Wilder and Dr. Joshua Kitchens for over 30 years. She was a member of Spottsville Baptist Church. Sue loved to cook and bake, sew and craft as well as plant and maintain her beautiful flower gardens.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Lloyd M. Bugg, two sisters and four brothers, and granddaughter, Angela Peckenpaugh.
Sue is survived by her daughter Gloria Beth McGrath and husband Michael of Dublin, OH; sons: James "Jim" Bugg and wife Gloria of Benton, KY, Thomas "Tom" Bugg and wife Gena of Henderson, KY, and Brian Lloyd Bugg and wife Jenny of Spottsville, KY; 10 grandchildren: Amanda Bugg, Aaron Bugg, Kevin McGrath, Michael Brown, Meagan Gogel, Jeremy Goldsberry, Sam Peckenpaugh, Alyssa Peckenpaugh, Abigail Peckenpaugh, and Sawyer Peckenpaugh; 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sue's Life Celebration from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Thursday at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the funeral home with Brother Hal Branson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Reed, KY.
