Wow, it´s taken me weeks to write anything. Marietta was one of the best friends I´ve ever had in my lifetime.
When I think of her, I think of summers and winters on my patio with music, food, and fun! I can´t believe she´s no longer with us.
My girls, especially Pip, as she called her loved her immediately, and Leelella as she was named by Pip, and now all the families call her that!
She was a friend, a surrogate mom, grandmother and best friend for life. My hamster and little C will love her forever in their hearts. Marietta´s names, not ours.
I just don´t know what to say!
I met her when I interviewed her and thought she was one of the smartest people I ever met. The wild thing is my husband met her years before I ever did. They were kindred spirits and I got to know her through him.
If you ever got the opportunity to spend time with her, you´d love her.
Only wish, I had one more patio night!!!

She used to drive us crazy because she was such a neat freak. She was always cleaning up after us! She loved her dogs..

We were so saddened to hear of this. I met Marietta through my son, Troy Clabaugh, she did his taxes and he introduced her to me. What a precious soul, so loving, sweet and kind. My son and I were blessed to have known her. Rest in peace sweet lady.
