Marilyn Frances Benton, 73, of Westfield, Indiana went home to be with her Lord and Savior on the 2nd of August, 2022. She was born to Ollie and Willa Mae Benton on March 15, 1949 in Savannah, Georgia.
Marilyn was a very giving person. She loved deeply and showed the love of her Lord and Savior with so many people. As a teacher for young children, she poured herself into their lives. When working as a caregiver and cook she always made sure to care for her patients with kindness at the same time showing them the love of the Father. She loved her church and the people in it, no matter where she went. As Auntie Marilyn, she touched so many children's lives. Teaching, caring, loving and being there for each and every one of them.
Marilyn is survived by her brother, John Benton; Nieces Melisa Benton, Jennifer Benton, and April Benton Strickland; Great-Nieces Ivey Strickland, Dixie Strickland, Kaylee Strickland; Great-Nephew Dakota Strickland: and Great-Great-Nieces: Avaleigh and Hazel. She is also Survived by her Special Friends, Derrick and Marie Taylor; "Nieces," Barbie Taylor and Mandy Taylor; and "Nephew," Nathan Taylor.
