Marilyn Ann Boucher passed away on Friday (August 1, 2025) at Good Shepherd Home with her family by her side. Marilyn was born September 5, 1936 to Kenneth and Clara (Stull) Bigham in Fremont, OH. Marilyn graduated from Jackson Liberty High School in 1954. Music and performing were her passion and she participated in many singing competitions, operettas, and piano recitals throughout the years. Marilyn met her husband Franklin Boucher while attending her family farm and gardening plots and they were married on June 23, 1956. Frank proceeded her in death in 2024. Frank and Marilyn have three children: Amy (Greg) Bickley, Fostoria, Jenny (Chuck) Holman, Risingsun, and Thomas Boucher (Neal Hendrickson), Palm Springs, CA. They also enjoyed five Grandchildren: Janel (Jeromy) Piehl, Herod, Jason (Alyssa) Bickley, Genoa, Katrina (Jason) Rinker, Findlay, Jordan (Lindsay) Feick, Risingsun, and Rachel Feick, Fostoria. In addition, they have nine Great Grandchildren: Austin Piehl, Addison, Daxton, Colt and Rhett Bickley, Bearett and Beckley Feick, and Jaxton and Hadley Rinker. Marilyn and Frank loved to travel and visited all 50 states, Europe, Spain, Portugal, Australia and New Zealand. In their later years, they split their time between Ohio and Arizona as snowbirds. Marilyn worked for Chapman Jewelers for many years, and volunteered at Good Shepherd Home, while also managing finances for their farming operation. Marilyn was a member of Union United Methodist Church, Fostoria.
Friends will be received from 10:00 – 12:00 Noon on Tuesday (August 5, 2025) at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday (August 5, 2025) with Pastor Keith Norwalk officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens, Arcadia, OH. Memorials can be made to Ohio Living Hospice or Cancer Patient Services, Findlay, OH.
