Mrs. Marilyn Twynette Cooper, 72, of Snyder, TX, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital. A funeral Service for Mrs Cooper will be held at 2 PM Thursday, March 6, at Grace Fellowship with Reverend Ryan Ford officiating, with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cooper was born on January 14, 1953, to W.A. and Mary (Williams) Wiggins in Evergreen, AL. Marilyn married Bid Cooper on July 1, 1979 in Dallas,Texas. She was a great cook. She doted on her children, nieces and nephews; as well as any other children she ran across. She spent countless hours volunteering at school, church and the Scurry County Museum. She was on the Board of Directors for the Museum for years. She headed the First United Methodist Church's mission to the Scurry County Food Bank for fourteen years
She is survived by husband Bid Cooper; son Neil Cooper; son Seth Cooper; sister Rita Perez; sister Judy Mansel; brother-in-law Jim Mansel; brother Ricky Wiggins; brother Homer Wiggins; sister-in-law Lita Wiggins; sister Jellene Jaye; brother Doyle Wiggins; sister Teresa Hall; sister-in-law Arnetta Cooper; brother-in-law O.L. Cooper, and Many Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by W.A. Wiggins (Father), Mary Wiggins (Mother).
A visitation will be held from 6-7 PM, Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
