NORTH GRAFTON - Marilyn Cusher, 66, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was born in Queens, New York on July 24, 1957, to Walter and Joan Hertz.
Marilyn is survived by two sons, Daniel and Michael, daughters-in-law, Allison and Taylor, her grandsons, Oliver and Ryan, her sisters Sharon and Roberta, her nephews Benjamin and Sam, and her beloved cats Ben and Jerry. She is predeceased by her eldest son Andrew.
Marilyn grew up on Long Island, New York and graduated from Amityville Memorial High School. She obtained her from Dowling College in Oakdale, New York and taught special education students for many years. Marilyn later obtained a graduate certificate in human resources from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts and worked at Noresco, Wrightline, and the nonprofit BELL.
Marilyn was an active member of the Congregation B'nai Shalom where she also taught pre-kindergarten education.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 19th at Congregation B'nai Shalom, 117 E. Main St., Westborough. Interment will follow at B'nai Brith Cemetery, 55 St. John's Rd., Worcester. Memorial Observances will be announced at the time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to support the UMass Memorial Health Care Bone Marrow Transplant program at donate.umassmemorial.org. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Perlman Center at Miles Funeral Home in Holden.
