Marilyn DeRaps Obituary
Marilyn Edith McKenna DeRaps age 76 of Rocky Mount passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at her home. She was born on November 11, 1947 a daughter of the late Richard and Marjorie Kimball McKenna. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, David Gary DeRaps.
She is survived by her son, Michael David DeRaps (Tonya), Bristol, VA; daughters, Meridith DeRaps Brown (Joel), Cross Plains, TN and Christine DeRaps, Rocky Mount, VA; her sisters, Janice Miller (Ronnie) and Joyce Lee. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Maine where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.
