Marilyn L. Garman of Granbury, Texas , faithful servant of the Lord, was called home on August 9, 2025 at the age of 95. She was born on May 9, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana where she spent her childhood as the older sister of three younger brothers. She began her career as a secretary with the Studebaker Corporation in South Bend, Indiana. When they closed, she moved to Battle Creek, Michigan to work for the Kellogg Company where she remained until her retirement in 1990.

Marilyn lived a devoted life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and prayed faithfuly for her friends and family. She loved to participate in women's Bible studies and read Christian novels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mom and Pop Gilaspy, and her brothers Richard, Robert and Larry Gilaspy, She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Jay Bell and her step-son, Rick Garman. She has four grandchildren, Jodie Bell, Jay Bell (Grace), Jenna Strickley (Lane), and Nick Garman as well as six great grandchildren: Asher, Brooklynn, Brayden, Wyatt, London and Bryleigh.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 1st in Granbury.
